On Friday 8th September, we were delighted to bring back the Berkley Square Annual Golf Day; with this year's proving bigger and better than ever.
Forty guests braved the British weather after a spot of breakfast to tee off in the morning, which then led to a beautifully sunny day for all to enjoy.
With the help of Bowood Golf & Country Club's top new technology, clients were able to keep an eye on the scores throughout the day with a handheld system. Scores were also showcased on the leaderboard so players could be tracked throughout the day.
We also provided the opportunity for clients to discover more about their game from a special golf swing analysis, explained by PGA professional golf coach Simon Shanks. Attendees also had the opportunity to try and 'beat the pro' with all entry fee proceeds going to the St. James's Place Foundation.
Along with a 'Guess the FTSE 100' competition after a delicious dinner and insightful presentation from special guest speaker Gavin McGhee, almost £1,700 has been raised for the St. James's Place Foundation- which has truly topped off a great event for all involved.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank each and every person involved in making our second golf day so special. It goes without saying we are very much looking forward to next year's already. Please keep an eye on our website for future updates.
